Initial Ramblings and little bugs

So I thought I'd give a quick intro to life as I know it. I'm 29 (looking forward to my 30th early in the new year) living with my husband of a few months. So yeah, we're newlyweds (C'mon, say it with me, 'AWWW!'). Life is pretty straightforward for us right now. As we've only been married a few months you'd think we could just settle into our lives for a while without hearing "When are you having babies?!?!" constantly. Just in case you're curious: the answer is "About 2 years or so, unless we have an 'oops' baby." We're happy being selfish for a little while longer. And my brother and his wife are due in January, so I can spoil the living crud out of my soon-to-be niece or nephew.

Not to mention I'm really enjoying my sleep these last few years before we enter the joys of parenthood.

I'm sure I'll give more details about who we are and what we do; especially from my point of view of course, but for now, can I just share what my husband brought home to me this evening?

Flowers! For absolutely no reason except to make me smile whilst recovering from a cold that he generously gave to me last week (ahem). I love so many flowers (my friends acuse me of fast becoming ....insert horrid look here.... DOMESTICATED. Eek.) and have dabbled here and there with our garden. Gerbers are one of my favorites though and he knows it.

What a nice guy, right?

I guess I can forgive him for getting me sick and start getting used to "what's mine is yours"... even when it comes to little cold bugs.
